Change That Works will be having a bake sale on the front 'lawn' at Barry's Bikes. It will be Thursday, July 30th from 11-1 with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society to help with health care costs.

As everyone is aware, our country is in a health care crisis. Health care costs are expected to grow 71% over the next decade, which will in turn drive premium increases for health insurance.

We've experienced it first hand and it sucks! We work our asses off and STILL can't afford to have insurance or to help out our wonderful employees! Family insurance is worse! Think of the single moms and dads that have to pay $600-$800 a MONTH!

One business offered their employees health insurance that costs $487 per month. That’s $5,844 per year for a single person! Not including life, dental, vision, and long-term disability. You also have to take into account your out-of-pocket expense. Yikes!

Anyway......come buy some really good food so we can give lots of money to a really good cause!

Don't know what to expect during the rides; just have fun! If you lack the plum-smugglers, just wear comfortable clothes you can ride in. • Saturday, May 30, 2009 - 12:00am

We are teaming up, once again, for a weekend mountain bike ride at Indian Hills Resort. If you haven't made it to ride the Nux Baa Ga trail, you are missing out on one fun trail, buddy! The trail is roughly 7-8 miles total and everyone can ride it. The trail rewards beginner riders but also challenges fast riders because you can haul some major a$$ on it!

We will have a dinner on Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday morning. You can rent a cabin, bring an RV, or tent it with the coyotes. The lodge will be open and have food available at any time. FYI: They do not sell off-sale so BYOA (bring your own alcohol). I also believe we will have fun and games available at the lodge on Saturday night. I hope it's a clear sky because you have to ride out on the trail Saturday night and watch the sun setting over the lake.

The dates are May 30-31 2009. The cost for the supper and breakfast will be $15.00. ($7.50/meal)

This weekend is a family affair so bring your kids, wife, husband, pet, cousins, grandma.....you get the picture. There are plenty of other activities to do other than riding, so let everyone know about this event and let's make it successful!

You can contact Kelly at Indian Hills resort at 701-743-4122 or go to their website at www.fishindianhills.com.  If you have anymore questions, contact me through our website contact page and I'll get back to you ASAP.
