We are not here to preach, but come on, people.....this planet is all of ours and our future generations. Weather you believe in global warming or not; something funky is going on with our environment and it’s SCARY. If everyone would take 1 step, in your home or in your community, it will make a difference in the long run.

We are soing as much as we can, as well. At our shop we recycle metal scraps/parts, cardboard, plastic and aluminum. We even recycle bikes. We do the same recycling at home and can tell a HUGE difference. We only have to put our garbage out once every 3-4 weeks!!!! We think that's amazing! Jess started a recycling program at her office, too. (not so much a program as she just collects cardboard, cans, and plastics)

But what can I do, you say? Well here are some suggestions:

    ·     If you haven’t done so yet replace your light bulbs with energy efficient ones

    ·     Spring clean you home, office or company and donate your unwanted, but still good items, to a resale shop, a church, the Salvation Army or other charity or have a garage sale

    ·     Do not litter. That includes cigarette butts! They are not biodegradable. You don't want them in your lawn, do you? Of course not, and we don't want them in our parks, campgrounds, sidewalks, etc.

    ·     Unplug adapters and power cords if not in use. Cell phone chargers that are left plugged into walls and not into the phone, are still using energy. The same goes for your laptop, iPod, and many more that have rechargeable batteries.

    ·     Adopt a park or a street and help clean it up. Or take a walk around a messy neighborhood and pick up litter.

    ·     Donate money to your favorite green cause.

    ·     Since we don’t have curbside recycling, take your recycling materials to a recycling bin. Bismarck has a lot of them in very convenient locations. It kills us to see homes in our neighborhood with cardboard boxes alongside their weekly garbage, when there is a recycling bin RIGHT BESIDE THEIR HOUSE!!

    ·     Start a compost pile, or buy a compost bin to place your leaves and kitchen scraps inside.

    ·     Write a letter or email to your favorite green companies thanking them for doing their part for the environment.

    ·     Share what you’ve done and encourage others to do the same J

We want to say a HUGE THANKS to everyone that has shown concern about the recent happenings at our shop. Your love and support mean so much to us! What disappoints us, is some of the negative nonsense that is flowing off the tongues of some of the townspeople. All we ask is if you have concern, be an adult and ask Barry personally, instead of behind his back (come on...it's not highschool)

We're putting this behind us and just letting the fine gentlemen of the Bismarck PD do their job.

THANK YOU AGAIN....Our repairs for the season are already starting off with a bang!!
